Enea Group is the second biggest player in the Polish electricity market in terms of electricity production. It manages the full value chain on the electricity market: from fuel, through electricity production, distribution, sales and customer service. Responsible for safe energy supplies to 2.5 million customers. Enea Operator owns the distribution network in north-western Poland (approx. 1/5 of the country’s area). It employs 15,700 people throughout Poland, creating an innovative resource and energy concern.
Expectations
Enea Group was looking for a partner who would improve the ERM system and implement a tool supporting the management and reporting of corporate risks in the entire capital group. It was important not only to implement the software, but also to train employees in the tool so that they could use it independently and effectively on a daily basis. Our offer stood out from the competition. We offered not only a flexible and personalised erisk tool, but also comprehensive support. The portfolio also supported the choice of our company – the erisk tool has been successfully implemented in many organisations with a similar specificity, thus fully meeting the expectations indicated by Enea.
Solution
The cooperation of PBSG with Enea Group began in 2016. We were entrusted with improving the enterprise risk management (ERM) system. The implementation of the erisk IT system supporting the management and reporting of corporate risks was one of the most important tasks. The client’s positive testimonials prove that we fulfilled the task perfectly.
We developed a database
First, we started comprehensively developing the database. We carried out a number of key activities here, including defining and developing forms taking into account processes and plans for dealing with unacceptable risks. We designed scripts necessary for the efficient functioning of the database. We also developed prompts to track key risk-related aspects.
We configured the tool
We adapted the database to individual needs, processes and standards applicable in the organisation. We implemented a risk management model into the erisk tool, including necessary documentation, procedures and risk optimisation plans. We placed the main emphasis on effective risk management and generating reports on corporate risks.
We created e-reports
An important stage of the work was the creation of dedicated e-reports. They enable automatic reporting, which significantly facilitates monitoring the level of risks. Thanks to this, the client can react more efficiently and faster if any of the risks exceed the acceptable level.
We trained employees
We conducted service workshops for administrators and users. We placed emphasis on the practical use of the tool in everyday work, including efficient downloading of reports and risk analysis. We also provided instructional materials

We hereby inform you that ENEA Group has been cooperating with PBSG in the field of improving the enterprise risk management (ERM) system since 2016. At our request, PBSG prepared a report on the functioning of ERM and implemented the ERISK IT system supporting the management and reporting of corporate risks. PBSG reliably fulfils its obligations arising from concluded contracts.
