Pleo Technologies is a company that provides expense management solutions to forward-thinking teams around the world. Smart corporate cards empower thousands of companies across Europe. Pleo launched in Copenhagen in 2015, co-founded by fintech veterans Jeppe Rindom and Niccolo Perra. Both were early members of the successful startup Tradeshift, and both knew the pain of managing expenses. So they built something better. Their motto is love for technology and design, which is why their projects are a combination of wise design and the latest technological solutions. Expectations
Pleo Technologies Ltd. wanted to computerise and increase the effectiveness of the risk management system. It was looking for experienced advisors who would implement modern software and train its users. The selected tool was to not only support the everyday functioning of the organisation and achieve its goals, but also be implemented in a dynamic way. The proposed erisk solution and the PBSG offer fully met these expectations.
The entire project was implemented in English in 2023. Thanks to our experienced team, we were able to provide the client with a professional and comprehensive service in accordance with the highest European standards.
Solution
From the beginning, great emphasis was placed on ensuring that the software comprehensively supported the company in effective risk management. We divided the service into stages which, on the one hand, were intended to ensure dynamic implementation (to quickly and efficiently make the latest solution available for everyday use), and, on the other hand, to help build the required organisational and technical capabilities to ensure the appropriate level of security.
Thanks to our consulting and specialised team, the risk management system was efficiently implemented, taking into account the specific nature of the company. The erisk installation facilitated the work of numerous staff and also increased their level of awareness. It was possible, among others, thanks to the developed documentation and unification of processes, which are now available in one erisk tool.
The selection and implementation of erisk also contributed to the optimisation of security tools, which is necessary to maintain a high level of compliance and risk management in financial processes. This generally improved the level of security and resulted in more efficient ERM management.
We provided the service for Pleo Technologies Ltd. in 2023, entirely in English, at the highest level in accordance with the standards applicable throughout Europe.
We transferred the licence
The first step was to transfer the access licence and install erisk. Thanks to this, we were able to start work on personalising and adapting the tool to the specificity of the organisation.
We developed a risk management model
Together with the client, we developed a risk analysis methodology that meets the needs of the organisation along with the necessary definitions.
We configured the tool
We implemented a developed risk management model into the erisk tool, including, among others: necessary documentation, procedures and risk optimisation plans.
We created e-reports
An important stage of the work was the creation of dedicated e-reports. Thanks to this, the client gained greater control over the risk management process.
We trained employees
We conducted training for administrators and users on how to use the tool so that they could use erisk on a daily basis. We also provided instructional materials.
